Tonight Kossack Keith Olbermann went absolutely crazy over Hillary’s remarks about RFK for about 5 whole minutes. What Hillary said was insensitive and she had a bad choice for an example, but it wasn’t trying to incite a threat of assassination and probably wouldn’t have been a big story were it not for MSNBC.
RFK Jr. who has no reason to show fake outrage, and no reason to interpret a quote by Hillary in the worst possible manner, gave his reasonable analysis:
“It is clear from the context that Hillary was invoking a familiar political circumstance in order to support her decision to stay in the race through June. I have heard her make this reference before, also citing her husband’s 1992 race, both of which were hard fought through June. I understand how highly charged the atmosphere is, but I think it is a mistake for people to take offense.”
The sad irony of Keith’s latest attack on Sen. Clinton is that it has gotten many Obama supporters so mad that it may actually incite violence against Hillary.
The other sad irony is that Keith has joked about a super-delegate taking Sen. Clinton in a room and only him coming out. That is way more direct of an actual threat and much worse wording than what Sen. Clinton said. He basically joked about someone attacking or killing Clinton, and then scolds Clinton because she mentioned the RFK assassination.
He has become nothing but Obama’s own Bill O’Reilly and no one will take him seriously when Obama needs him for the general election
